Sean J. Leehan is a New York-based director, specializing in new work and reviving classic musical theatre. Most recently, Sean was the Assistant Director to Michael Bello on Off-Broadway’s We Are The Tigers and the Second Assistant to Cara Reichel on Prospect Theatre Company’s production of Einstein’s Dreams. Other previous assistant credits include Relic, or I was Bubbie’s Favorite at Queen’s Theatre with Will Pomerantz, The 24 Hour Plays Broadway Gala with playwright Jesse Eisenberg/director Carolyn Cantor, and numerous, new work readings and workshops with directors, Gabriel Barre and Christine O’Grady.
As a director, Sean has worked with Unlimited Stages in New York City and The Uncommon Theatre Company in Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College and is an Associate Member with the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.
